Sixth Form Sport and Biology students from De Aston School embarked upon a trip to London last week to explore two museums and experience our multicultural capital city.
The first stop on the tour for Year 12 BTEC Sport and A Level Biology students was the Natural History Museum, where they had the chance to take in the museum’s human biology exhibits.
Next the group visited Body Worlds, Dr Gunther von Hagens’ world-renowned exhibition of human bodies, at the London Pavilion where students completed learning booklets whilst listening to the museum’s audio guide.
To round off the trip students enjoyed an hour of free time in London’s Leicester Square, where they took the opportunity to experience some street performers and sample some street food.
De Aston Sixth Form students have regular opportunities to take part in trips and visit days to enhance their studies. Initial deadline for September 2020 entry is Friday 14th February 2020. Find out more about De Aston Sixth Form and apply now.
