Year 4 and 5 pupils from local primary schools visited De Aston School today for the first in a series of English Masterclasses.
Today’s masterclass was led by Miss Clark, who introduced the children to a range of different writing techniques and tips, and challenged them to write their own poetry.
Further masterclasses will take place in February and March, at the end of which an anthology of work written by the children will be put together.
